Godea (“we”, “our”, or “us”) operates the Godea platform and related services (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service. By using Godea, you agree to the practices described here.

• Account information: email address, display name, and profile picture when you sign up or sign in (e.g. via Supabase/auth).
• Cloud connections: when you connect Google Drive, Dropbox, or Microsoft OneDrive, we store access and refresh tokens and provider account identifiers so we can list and stream your files. We do not store the contents of your files on our servers.
• Media metadata: titles, types, thumbnails, and similar metadata about content you add to your library or share in circles.
• Circles and sharing: circle names, descriptions, membership, and which content you share to which circles.
• Payments: if you pay for a circle (subscription or one-time), payment is processed by Stripe. We may store subscription status, circle payment settings, and transaction references—not full payment card details.
• Usage and device data: we may collect usage data (e.g. feature usage, errors) and basic device or browser information to operate and improve the Service.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve the Service; to authenticate you; to sync and display your cloud content; to manage circles, sharing, and payments; to send you important notices (e.g. account or security-related); and to comply with law and enforce our terms.

4. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with service providers (e.g. hosting, auth, payments, analytics) who act on our behalf under strict agreements. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or property. Content you share to public circles may be visible to other users according to your sharing choices.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest where applicable. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us and change your password promptly.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, session management, and to improve the Service. You can control cookies through your browser settings; some features may not work correctly if you disable them.

When you disconnect a cloud provider or delete content, we update or remove the related data in line with our systems and policies.

The Service is not directed at children under 13 (or higher age where required). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us so we can delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. For material changes, we may provide additional notice (e.g. email or in-app).
